I'm using H4 versions of these exact bulbs in e-code 7'' round reflectors. Light output is white, impressive, but there is too much light too close to the vehicle. H4 bulbs need to illuminate more than 180 degrees of the reflector and these only I illuminate about 100-90 degrees.

This leads me to believe that a triangular set up like this which uses 2 LED bulbs, one on each triangle face, may provide better low beam spread in e-code housings:
