I have Bombay Jacks and love them. Never had issue, leaks or even the
slightest hint of structural weakness. I got 2 struts, light and HD. The HD
made easy work of lifting two 16ft kayaks and I could see it holding even
more weight. Install was easy, two holes, that is it. Measure twice, drill
once. Sweat a little bit before you do. Also, you don't have to drill into
the body to install these, they hook into the rear hinge, never an issue
there.

Now I just keep the additional struts in the rear hatch tray and switch out
as needed. I also think they hid better than the GW version which seem to
have a longer I was also able to buy a pair of artificial gutters from him.
Sized to match the rear bolts for the upper hinge plate on the top. Then
its just two holes drilled for the front ARG. Much better than the 4 holes
ones from Yakima.
