Hi Jef,

You may just want to do that! She would have some tips. She said that it was a good thing she had lots of craft background.

Listening to her as she worked I’d say be sure to watch the video but it was not as helpful as it could have been as hard to see and only music and a few captions no verbal description as you go. The written description was pretty good though.

the fabric glue is great but read those directions first as well. the glue is very watery and the tips on the box are helpful, but not given in the screen directions.

Be sure to have a lot of binder clips available as they worked better then pins except on the bottom edge.

Amazing fabric glue,Pins, a razor blade and good instructions come with the well made screen.

have a wet rag and sharp scissors available.

good music playing in the background is also advisable.

OK just a few tips from the blind guy helping his girlfriend with this project.

I hope to hear all goes well with your screen install!

Our vans are more like twins all the time.

I just installed, ok my girlfriend installed, the replacement screen for my original 85 canvas. Strangely my original ver 30 year old canvas is in great shape. That is other then the screen. Now it is just about like new again. the Jonce screen kit glues in place and makes a very nice replacement. With patience the results are rather amazing. >> >> also, the other products are functional, well made, and increase camping comfort. At least those I can speak for, the windshield cover with screens, and the outside shade kit for the other windows. I also find the rain and shade fly for the luggage rack are is a big help with summer sun or rain. >> >> so, the bottom line is the Jonce Fancher screen replacement for original canvas is great. >> >> Best. >> >> Eric Caron >> 85 GL auto Westfalia
