Hey Dake,

Is the lever on the door handle itself stuck in the pulled back position? If so, that will stop the lock mechanism from operating. You need to use a small screwdriver to pull the lever back out, then the lock should operate.

I just had one here that had that problem.

as it now you have... from the inside remove the upper left corner of the panel enoguh to get your in it then pull the the plunger rod up...

or slim-jim it but I don't know how to do it...
