Scary. Rust damage I assume. On one rusty van I had for a while, the right side suspension was noticeably less rusted than the left side suspension. ( due to more salt in the middle of the road as compared to the shoulder is my guess )

if a trailing arm 'broke' or otherwise came apart..that is indeed scary. Have 'em take a look at the right side too.

This is of course potentially a life-ending disaster waiting to happen. Or many only paralysis from the neck down, or maybe kill someone else on the road.

Nothing like 'regular inspection.' I'd say that all my cars get off the ground a few times a year for one reason or another.

let us know how it turns out. Be real nice if they fix the poor running without a lot of difficulty. I have seen some of them be quite illusive.
