But wait, there's more. When I was a kid in Europe I used to see lots of interesting delivery vehicles similar to VW Type 2. It's not that the Type 2 was unique, it's just that it was the most successful and memorable. Some vehicles on this list predate the VW Bus, which was actually called VW Station Wagon in US advertisement until the T2 bay window came out. We used to just call them 'Kombi'.
