About four days into our two week holiday and we have covered about half the total distance. Left Winnipeg then stayed in regina, Cypress Hills, Waterton Lakes and now tonight in Cranbrook BC. North tomorrow to Yoho National Park with a pit stop at the hot springs (which may be cancelled due to 34 Celsius heat!) Van and tiny trailer are moving along well. Fridge works, headlights work, everything works except the darn windshield washer pump. Bad connection and not worth fussing over. Only two Vanagon sitings so far. One white Westfalia outside of Moose Jaw. Another gold Westfalia in southern Alberta. And a nice 70 camper from Saskatchewan in Waterton Lakes (the kind with the roof that pops straight up - name escapes me ). Also saw what I believe was an LT camper north of Waterton lakes today, and a really neat Karman Mobil Ontario model with European plates in the Waterton campground. Pics on the Facebook page. And about a dozen Boler trailers. Jeff Sent from my iPhone |
