Thanks, John. Good advice. I think I'll get the shop to confirm the thermostat is working. I usually like to explore the root cause of any issue whether it is mechanical or otherwise. Sometimes it is too easy to think that you have found the source of the problem only to find it occurs again because you haven't found the root cause.
