I usually wait until some wear pattern or difference is just becoming evident. Somewhere around 7,500 miles which is also oil change time for me.

Thanks Dennis...any thoughts on when the best time to rotate the tires in terms of mileage...as per Bentley / VW or prior?
Thanks,
Bruce

For the Syncros if using directional tires I set the spare for the right side and rotate the 3 tires on the right and just swap front-rear on the left. Due to the crown of the road and our driving mostly in the middle or right lanes I found the right front usually wears the most.

Indeed they are. Can't do a full 5-wheel rotation without dismounting at some point.
I use Nokian WRC on my Syncro. They are superb. I only do 4-wheel rotations. I also have a decoupler so I don't worry about putting my spare on.
