Sorry about the lack of update, once we are on the road we need Wifi to be able to update and don't frequent or want to frequent those places very often.

We got the coolant issue cleared up $340 expensive but at least on the road. Within 20 miles out of town Westley broke down again- issue appeared to be a fuel issue. It was far to dangerous to drive given the hwy conditions. A Vanagon member recommended Celtic motors located 1 mile east of Autohaus and managed to have Celtic look at the vehicle - within the day we were on the road with a new fuel pump and filter and all is well. The mechanic couldn't reproduce the engine failure but noticed the fuel pump was running with significant vibration. The filter contained a few fines and trace of water. We finally escaped Kalispell with a good feeling that all was good.

Currently in Prineville in Oregon- having gone over a few more passes and everything seems to be running great. Taking the passes in the early morning when possible.

On our way through Sisters, Oregon and hoping to on the coast tomorrow.

Apologize for not responding and appreciate the response from all. I'm trying not to be too connected as I'm trying not to get caught with any work issues and just want to enjoy some vacation.

Cheers, Goetz - 87 Westy "Westley"
