From time to time I hear drive shaft rattle or make a sound - which is clunky but then again I don't really know. The sound occurred with the stock drive shaft as well as with the new one I installed a few years back - (thanks to Ken at Vanagain who had the replacement shafts in stock).

The sound I experience happens when I shift too early (not high enough rpms) where the shaft rattles or not very smoothly and I release the clutch too quickly.

Interesting - something to review one of these days - thanks for sharing.
