For those following this - I FINALLY got done with this. The switch cam adjustment point was boogered so I opted for a new one. Adjusting the switch was a bit of a mystery to me as I had never done it myself. But this time I had to and I experienced what Indiana Jones father (Sean Connery) expressed at the end of The Last Crusade ---- -ENLIGHTENMENT!

I followed up the switch adjustment with a tune up of new rotor finger, rotor cap, new spark plugs and ignition wires. Road tested up to 65 mph. Now all is well. That little bogging down when tryi g to accelerate is gone. Van now responds smoothly and with vigor.

Didn't do oil and filter just yet because when I do, the van gets a sandwich sensor and new oil pressure and oil temp gauges.

Coming soon!

H'ray!

John
