Update: They're still investigate the clattering noise in my engine. It's coming from inside the engine on the passenger side and is definitely not noisy lifters. They were in the process of trying noninvasive diagnostics to try to find the problem but had pulled the valve covers off to investigate. Guess I'll find out more tomorrow, but at least I know it's in good hands now.

I was thinking that my engine was pretty new and started digging around only to find that it's about 11 years old. Not sure how many miles on it, but it can't be that much; I drive it about 5-7K miles a year, I think.
