If lights are on but >key off, the buzzer will sound. Bell Industries (Sidney) Ltd has a much fancier arrangement that uses the cucaracha buzzer. But it's no good for me because I need something abrupt and instant-starting to catch my attention. By the time those melodious what-have-yous have sounded I'm already somewhere else. The one I finally put in per the above description works a treat. But it's so irritating I will have to rig a disabler for times when I *want* to leave the parking lights on. And of course it's more elegant to wire it in properly. But I stared at that buzzer for four or five years and then leapt up and did it in ten minutes including cutting the little tabs of copper and soldering them on. Yrs, d |
