Being an ex-tent camper, and now having owned three "weekender"/ Wolfsburg/Camper-without-the-stove/sink/fridge Vanagons, I would have to say that what we now have is a great alternative to cooking in the place you sleep (not nearly close to ----ting in the place you sleep). Rustle up a Coleman stove, a hospital-supplied wash tub, and an Ingel (Engel?), and you're on your way to back-country bliss.
