First things first, did you plug in the AFM connector? I've missed that more than once.

Engine dies when trying to acclerate.

Volks, ever since adjusting the TB switch, and putting in new plugs, plug wires, dist. Cap and rotor finger, the van has run like sewing machine for three days. Thenlast night, 'ol Red decided "no go".

The problem is it idles fine, step on the gas and it quits. Engine just dies on the spot. With engine off, I checked throttle operation and it is perfect. I can hear the switch clicking appropriately. Connections tight, no slipped throttle cable.

If this thing was carb fitted I would know what to do. As is, I am at a loss. Anyone got any suggestions?
