Hi Maureen.

You sound like an experienced Westy owner-operator but....

Did you try cooling fridge on AC first (several hours) then try to light it on LP?

Ask shop to blow compressed air into the fridge intake and exhaust pipes. Opening to these pipes are obviously at the "Dometic" flue at vehicle exterior but removing the metal cover may help get better results.

I used to laugh at the notion of spiders and what not crawling into the intake and exhaust pipes but it does happen! They die and clutter up the burner in fridge combustion box and or the pipes themselves.
