FWIW, We had AAA for years and years. One year I needed to tow something somewhere and finished up telling the AAA person where and how far to shove their service after we got into an altercation. Since then I have been extremely happy with Good Sam and their services.

I must confess to having another vehicle fetish besides VW. A similar disease but for the 1978 GMC Royale Motor Home. On steroids with a new 455 (bored out) and headers and flow masters blah blah blah. What I'm getting too is that Good Sam towed my injured Motor Coach well over 100 miles about five or six years ago to the shop that I requested - and - the rates are so much less than AAA.

Maybe worth some investigation.

After all, AAA is the house, they've calculated the odds. Their job is not to save you money. I've just turned around and kept that money in my pocket (the fact that my pockets are empty is not relevant!). >> >> Angus >> >> >> >>> On
