For sure! My partner and I bought our first home in 1988 for $55,000. There was no way we could have afforded a 17K vehicle then.

Now, I had a bill from a shop that was more than Monty cost us in 2005 and more than I ever spent on purchasing any other vehicle (other wheels are 2001 Civic, purchased in 2011).

But the fun can't be compared!
