I generally arrive at the boarder going into Canada so I can answer 'no' to these questions :

any tobacco ? any alcohol ? any firewood ? any fruits and vegetables ?

feels like I'm forgetting a few ....but basically I aim to cross very 'clean.'

what I've experienced is if it's yes at all..like, "yes I have one bottle of unopened wine.." it's 'pull over there please' and they go through your car or van.
