It is different, as is the distributor, evap, etc...

I think the main difference is the type of cat, not the AFM. Is it a different part number? You could probably get any AC AFM to pass the early '80's CA emission specs with a little tweaking of the idle speed (high) and mixture screw if it has a good CA spec cat and the EGR is working.

I did. The only one I can find at the moment is for the federal version. I need the california. It would be the other way around if I needed the federal all they would have is california. :-)
