Just started to install the kit. I always ( well most/some times anyway) read and try to understand the instructions before committing to the project. Saves a lot of mistakes and time = (frustration and throwing things) No wires have been cut.or new relays installed. The 4 bulbs are still in he carton. If all goes well today and I get back home I'll try again to sort this problem out.

Sounds like the designer of the kit doesn't want the headlight grounds served by double wires through a single terminal. There are better ways to do this, like relaying the lights and/or running grounds to the frame near the lights instead of all the way back to the star. > > You might ask BD directly, they are pretty good at helping with stuff like that. > > Jim > >> On Thu, Jul 16, 2015 at 5:15 AM, Dennis Jowell <dennisjowell@gmail.com> wrote: >> Jim >> The basic problem on the headlight install is step one of the instructions. " unplug the double ground wire from ground star and cut them into 2 singles wires. Check to make sure you have the correct ground connection by noticing with the ground wire unplugged that the existing Headlights go out" sounds good- I disconnected all the ground wire one at a time from both stars and the headlights don't go out. I will try again this afternoon. >> >> Dennis Jowell >> Scotch Hollow Farm >> Newbury, Vermont >> >
