Bell Industries (Sidney) Ltd has a much fancier arrangement that uses
the cucaracha buzzer.  But it's no good for me because I need
something abrupt and instant-starting to catch my attention.  By the
time those melodious what-have-yous have sounded I'm already
somewhere else.  The one I finally put in per the above description
works a treat.  But it's so irritating I will have to rig a disabler
for times when I *want* to leave the parking lights on.

And of course it's more elegant to wire it in properly.  But I stared
at that buzzer for four or five years and then leapt up and did it in
ten minutes including cutting the little tabs of copper and soldering them on.
