Dear all
The price of insurance is only a small part of the equation - what's the
point of paying 1k$ a year to only realize - scrap price for your ride - we
all know the vaue and the worth - more importantly the replacement value
well exceeds the price of neary any pre -1995 vehicle -
So in assessment for insurance - try and find an outfit that will cover you
for the agreed value of the vehicle and make sure you research their claims
policy - start a face book page maybe - or maybe it is time for one of us
who is financially savvy and qualified to create the vanagon owners mutual
assurance company
Everybody named - each puts in $$ to supplement legislated insurance and
adds on as a third party - don't get to creative - remember warren Buffett
says in his book -- a snowballs chance - - that insurance is a tuff racket
to make a go of it -
Regards
