I have yet to fully test the brakes after recent work done to them. They did, indeed, have fade at times. I"m hoping recent work has have improved though. There's so many gull derned factors involved here. Not the least of which can be the learning curve of the well intended owner-wrench. One aspect I'm curious of is whether my Jetta engine (engine conversion) creates enough vacuum at idle for the brake booster. I can't see why it wouldn't. OR, maybe the used check valve I'd installed at engine bay is at fault. https://sites.google.com/site/tubaneil2/brakeservocheckvalve I'd also installed a new brake booster around the time of my engine swap.
