they did not have the right stuff.
the oem hose has a black covering with a red thread in it to differentiate it from fuel hose which gets hard and stiff with coolant use and from brake line hose which has a blue liner. I still have the oem hose which is getting short from trimming the ends every decade. Still soft and supple after all these years and works without a hose clamp.

Notice GAS has changed. Try Belmetric, they have the proper size but don't see red color
