I'm also a Vanagon Rescue Squad memeber, in Des Moines, WA.I have those items and about 80 miles north of Chehalis.If help hasn't arrived yet let me know. I did not get a answer on the phone.

She's in Chehalis, WA.  Jason Newton has spoken to her; they think
her distributor rotor is shorting to ground.  Anyone nearby Chehalis
with a cap and rotor could do a good turn.
