I had an issue with my van not starting one time. tracked it down to the
main power wire coming off the alternator. the wire was barely hanging onto
the connection terminal by a strand. Not enough juice to crank...
Tug on the wire at the connection terminal a bit, even though the wire may
look ok it may be frayed under the protective nylon covering the crimped
portion of the wire.
I added a new connector, reattached it and mine fired right up.
Abel.
