Somebody send me a link on the HEPU (which is what servers in a serving line at a cafeteria say to you here in Alabama, by the way)? I use Craftsman wobble extensions, the kind you snap into the socket and it allows maybe 15 degrees of movement all around, good for most things. I also have the U-joint type adapter as well as an entire set with the U-joint as part of the socket itself. Amazingly I have had the U-joint sockets and adapter for going on 45 years, and while they are amazingly in good shape for something that finicky that gets so much load put on it, I hate them. If it needs a flexible connection it is probably out of normal reach, and the U-joint style just flop completely over. Very frustrating to work with on long extensions especially. You might want to replace really touch bolts with allen head bolts that you can reach with a ball head allen socket.
