Very interesting how these vehicles inspire people universally - mostly for the same reasons. If I wasn't paying off my wheel and tire upgrade I would quite likely support Mike's efforts. Certainly enjoyed the blog.

Currently on the eve of our 11 day Washington & Oregon trip - packing the van at the moment and trying not to be too critical of all the accessories others are bringing...also praying to the Vanagon Gods that we have calm seas and few surprises.
