Dennis,

You are correct, the Nokians would be almost double.

However, I've run Nokian tyres (winter and summer) on at least one vehicle for almost 30 years and have never been let down.

I've been running a set for a little over 12K kms (7500 miles) and all is just peachy. > > On 10-Aug-2015, at 21:27, Dennis Haynes wrote: > >> Try this tire from Tires easy.com. >> >> http://www.tires-easy.com/cgi-bin/rshop.pl?s_p=Sumitomo-HTR-A_S-P02-205_65R15XL-99V&details=Ordern&typ=R-283810&cart_id=63760804.135.5546&ranzahl=4&Breite=205&Quer=65&Felge=15&weiter=30&kategorie=6&Ang_pro_Seite=15&Transport=P&dsco=135&rsmFahrzeugart=ALL >> >> Don't be alarmed by the 99 load index. This type tire reaches it full rated carrying capacity at 41 or 42 psi. The truck tire only has its full capacity at the maximum inflation. This is due mostly to the extra heat buildup in that type of tire. This is an all season tire and the price is right. >> >> Dennis >> >> >> -----Original Message----- >> From: Vanagon Mailing List [mailto:vanagon@gerry.vanagon.com] On Behalf Of Chris Szpejankowski >> Sent: Monday, August 10, 2015 1:37 PM >> To: vanagon@GERRY.VANAGON.COM >> Subject: Nokian WRC tires no more? >> >> I have Nokian WRC 4 season tires in 205/65R15 size. They have 102 load rating and are just about perfect in every aspect. Does anyone know if these are not produced any longer? I can't find them anywhere but they are listed on Nokian website. >> >> Chris. >> >> Wysłane z iPhone'a
