If you have bicycle stuff around you likely have something that will fit.  I think I used a 5mm x .8mm ( 5 by 80 is what we called them in the bike shop) screw, like what holds a toe clip to a pedal.  I fixed mine years ago and it is still holding, so I might be remembering wrong. Stephen
