So far I've replaced the resistor, followed the ground to the tree (looks connected) and get a clicking noise from the relay when jumping the plug connector.

The AC on this van is not connected because it is a Subaru conversion.

Do you think the clicking is a bad relay up top behind the fuse box?

I do have the Bentley and have taken a look at the wiring diagrams, but that's about it.
