I had a similar issue in Colorado. Gowesty 2450cc. Automatic. Going over a pass at 3pm full sun. Buzzer went off. Oil pressure was fine based on my aftermarket gauge so I think it was the fact that it was the hottest part of the day and I also just switched to a lighter weight 15w50 synthetic oil.

Only happened that one time, I did stop immediately and let things cool down since it was really hot out. Never happened again.
