I would like a feature that tracked my vehicle, or decommissioned it, if it were stolen. No problem at all there.

The real problem with the Internet stuff is that it is another luxury item which the public seems hopelessly unable to resist. Luxury has, in my opinion, pretty much ruined a lot of markets (hosing to name another) without improving the product much if at all. If cars had not taken the upscale turn some years back, you might have a great, dependable, fun, actually cool product for a third the cost. That's what they don't want.

But I wouldn't pick on the electronics. It's EVERYTHING about cars nowadays, yet kids and animals are still dying in them from overheating in parking lots. So, how far have we come?

Jim
