Don't understand what you mean by 'good resource' .. you mean where to buy paint prep materials like sand paper and primer and all that stuff ?

if there is a Automotive Paint Supplier in your area ..that's who you want. They'll have 10 times as many products and better quality than a common auto parts store.

as you know.......'the prep' is where all the effort goes into getting a result. More or less, shooting the paint at the end of the prep part is the easy part.

one can spend as long as one wants on vehicle paint prep ..even hundreds of hours if you want to go that nutty.

If you do do a really super job on prep ..don't assume that someone is going to do a nice spray job on it.

heck ...I've told a guy that I was not that concerned about the cost on his spray job .. I wanted a really good job ( on a Euro model BMW 3.0 CS Coupe ..pretty fancy car ) .. I had to take it back to him to do right. Too typical !

getting no runs, no over-spray, no sags, no orange peel ...all that takes skill and care, and experience.

Good luck !
