Good point! I will get under there with a flashlight and inspection mirror and take a look!

There is a snall splash shield at the bottom that ptotects the belts on the big pulley that attaches to the engine itself and somewhere back and up in front of the pulley. If I could get that off, inspection would be easy. Not repair, but inspection. Sometimes thats half the battle..
