Engine cold. Sat overnight with a drip pan underneath ( a precaution I routinely do) and this morning there was about a cup or so of orange coolant in the pan. Climbeed underneath with a light and could see a drip, drip, drip every minute or so off of the very bottom corner of the oil cooler. The cooler is mounted to the engine with one corner down, so naturally the coolant would drip from that corner. The cooler has been in that position for eons. Inspected the hoses to the cooler and they appear dry. What else might be causing the coolant loss. What is above the cooler that might be leaking. I can't really see above the cooler without taking things apart, which I am lothe to do unless abolutely necessary. Any suggestions will be appreciated. John |
