You could do the GW muffler, brackets, and tail pipe now as needed and have less to replace when more of the exhaust is done later. Muffler material tends not to weld well and the broken flange supports are often a sign the muffler is failing internally.

Hi,

The sleeve in the muffler that the pipe from the Cat goes into had some broken welds on it.  Additionally, the bracing brackets to the edge of the muffler had some broken welds as well.  I was just having them patch things together (band-aid) until next year when I am seriously considering putting in a stainless exhaust.
