OK, it is sort of cool in a perverse kind of way. Who among us hasn't wished that our bricks possessed a bit more of the aesthetic DNA of a splitty, or even a bay window model. Still, if all I wanted between my knees and oncoming traffic was a piece of sheet metal, you might as well  put the gas tank on the front bumper. That would make it as exciting to drive as my old Beetle!
