The 87's do have overly optimistic speedometers. So are the odometers. 3 to4 percent typical. 26.5 inch tires will take care of that error.

Stock 2.1 - 65MPH (on the speedometer - GPS says 60MPH) at 3600RPM. Usually get about 17 -18 MPG.
