I did a similar job then ran into a really slow coolant loss. Turned out to be a really slow leak at coolant level sensor in coolant bottle with blue cap and at the rear heater valve O ring. The latter was the bigger culprit ; I didn't notice a coolant smell until that O ring failed in an epic way (allowed a lot of coolant out.). Prior to that, coolant must have been dripping out and hiding under the floor. I did not smell it.

One thing I was advised to do, and wish I had done (still don't not have the tool yet). Use a pressure tester to check for leaks.
