As a matter of fact, I did.
I can only think of two events.
One, is the Mercedes exhibition with history and all kind of Mercedes Benz
ever made. In Stuttgart. Amazing, mind boggling stuff.
The other was, or rather is, the daily car exhibition that takes place front
of the Monte Carlo Casino every evening. The cars are waiting in line to
have their turn to make the show with lots of people making photos with
them. Of course, Lamborghini, Ferrari, Porsche, Rolls Royce, etc. one after
the other, and all makes and years. I was thinking to make my turn with my
high top diesel Vanagon, to show it off to the envious crowd, but I rather
did not want to leave my great parking place, so the patrons have lost out
on that, not knowing their great loss.
I'm planning to re-start the van again next year and make a nice trip to
some place I have never been before, with a nice partner.
