hi Vince..
for $ 649 you'd think the parking brake would be working at the end of
the job ..
or they'd at least tell you it 'needs more' in that area.
A block with the parking brake on shouldn't hurt much.
I don't especially think you have this going on ..
but I have seen a rear brake drum on a vanagon, new ...made in
you-know-where that was out of round by a half mile ..
and had a huge balance weight tacked to it, that fell of easily ..
in other words, new, it was junk.
Some change that happened on your recent brake job is my point.
the drums I get are usually made in Europe ..often Italy, and work well.
CLOCK CLOCK sounds on acceleration ...
glad you had a successful trip, but that should get checked out for sure !
