Great. First, the defective sunroof drains on my diesel 2010 Jetta Sportwagen flood my spare tire well and rear seat floor pans.
Next, the panoramic sunroof mechanism jams up everytime the temperature gets above 85 degrees. Now as autumn arrives, the sunroof is stuck open.My high pressure fuel pump has not yet disintegrated and destroyed the entire fuel system, a failure many fellow TDI owners have already suffered. With bated breath I await the advent of this calamity.
And there's the pending airbag/clockspring recall.
Finally, I now learn that my beloved (though less so every day) little car is an environmental criminal. Hey Volkswagen! That air you're polluting? It's the same air your customers and their loved ones breathe. Thanks a bunch, jack@sses.http://www.nytimes.com/2015/09/19/business/volkswagen-is-ordered-to-recall-nearly-500000-vehicles
The bloom is definitely off the rose on this one.--Mills :-{ [
