Most campground utility hook ups have a 240v outlet, but I don't camp in those spots very often. According to the Audi link in the article, a rooftop solar panel array will be available that is ". . . the largest solar module to be used in the automotive sector, it is claimed to produce sufficient energy under a typical European climate to provide an added 622 miles of range per year." Wow, 622 miles per YEAR! I wonder what the cost per mile for that will be. The wireless charging is pretty cool though, but electric vehicles are only useful for urban travel "on the grid". My '66, after 280K+ miles, still gets around 25mpg ... though emissions are off-the-charts by today's standards.
