I Resemble that description.

Part of my joy in having a Vanagon is it’s connection to the hippie past. Pretty sure Bay windows were around a year or two before Woodstock in 69. Also well into the time of Vietnam and many related piece protests.

I’ve had many a aging hippie stay at my place and I’m pretty sure they didn’t smell or leave a mess behind.

The last ones left me unexpected gifts and positive energy that still lingers on. I have long hair on the inside and love getting my tie off at the end of the day and working on my hippie van in a tie dye shirt.

I can’t help but think that some of the positive hippy energy is why so often folks stop and offer assistance or just a story when I’m out and about in my van. so many times folks have helped get my van going when I could not. and so often offered a needed part, a place to stay, and all kinds of road side assistance. I always thought that was because of the impression of f VW van owners as warm, kind, trust worthy, and part of a family.

But enough of that I need to go find some elicit activities to undertake. Eric Caron 85 GL Auto Westfalia Dirty stinky, criminal hippy van in Southern VT
