I never have full westy. I had a weekender (sold) and now tin top... for tin top has more space then the weekender and the weekender has more space then the full westy the tin top is lighter than the weekender and the weekender is lighter than the full westy... I can pass easily a full westy with my tin top giving it has the same engine as mine.. so the weekender is a bridge between the tin top and the westy... the weekender has the look of the full westy and almost the space of the tin top... some people put a pop top on a tin top... so gutting a full westy to make it a weekender is OK too... as long as you don't care what other people will say... it's your van and it's your life... you have the freedom to do what you like :-) |
