hi tim... on the turn signal socket wires .. the normal and clever way to find out which wire is which is just put a simple 12 volt test light on them .. and out which wire has parking light voltage on it, which has turn signal voltage on it , etc. The brown in ground of course. This is even easier to do than posting a question online !!

And of course the Bentley manual wiring diagrams are useful .. and sometimes not that hard to use. on the rad fan ..I've never had occasion to need to know which wire is which .. as they are never ( normally anyway ) removed from the plug they clip into.
