Well, I've been on this list a long time and the banter certainly has gone
up and down and when it
goes up people complain that it's too much for one reason or another.
Then it goes down and then
people complain that they don't get very many messages.    So go figure....

I think the Facebook thing is for for those that like to banter more.   I
like this list because of the
wonderful contributions from experts and novices alike.   If I want banter
I can go to FB.
